Subaru Forester: Interior equipment
CAUTION
When leaving your vehicle, make
sure the lights are turned off to
avoid battery discharge...
Other information:
This feature is designed to protect the vehicle battery from excessive discharge if the exterior lights are accidentally left on. Once the engine is turned off and the driver's door is opened, the system automatically switches off the position lamps.
However, if you operate the lighting switch after the vehicle has been turned off, the position lamps will remain illuminated even with the driver's door open...
Grease, wax, insects, or other material on
the windshield or the wiper blade results in
jerky wiper operation and streaking on the
glass. If you cannot remove the streaks
after operating the windshield washer or if
the wiper operation is jerky, clean the outer
surface of the windshield (or rear window)
and the wiper blades using a sponge or
soft cloth with a neutral detergent or mildabrasive
cleaner...

This display shows the average vehicle
speed since the trip meter was last reset.
Pressing the TRIP RESET switch toggles
the display between the average vehicle speed corresponding to the A trip meter
display and the average vehicle speed
corresponding to the B trip meter display.
When either of the trip meter displays is
reset, the corresponding average vehicle
speed value is also reset.
